"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard i want to work, and i decided that i would change it." -Dr. Ben Carson

Nobody is stuck with being poor. Anyone can be wealthy in their adulthood. The problem is did they work hard in high school to go to a good college and get a career? Probably not. Some might have not had the opportunity to go to school or some had to drop out because they had to stay home and help out their family. But others did have the chance to go to school but they just goofed around. So being poor is just a choice. Its not a lifestyle. Dr. Carson was poor growing up and he decided he didt want to be poor as a grown up so he worked hard in school and got a career.
