Class Evaluation

I enjoyed this class because we learned many valuable things. There were so many inspirational quotes Mr. Haymore showed us. I heard things in a different perspective. I liked how we would research about the medicine department. We were able to explore the many different careers medicine has. It could have been better by learning about different careers as well. I believe i tried my best in this class. I could've tried harder with my typing tutor but other than that I gave it my all. I am committed to being a CTR person. This class has taught me that by being a CTR person you will have success and greatness.  

IDP Showcase

I had barely finished writing my flash cards and it was our turn to present next. I wasn't scared at all yet. I didn't even realize i was about to present until i walked to the front of the classroom. We started our power point presentation. It was not good in my opinion. I was the last was to speak. I took a couple of steps i totally forgot how to start off my slide. I tried to remember but i couldn't. I stood there stuttering because i didn't remember how to start off my slide. The creative component was next and we couldn't find it on the computer. I got my flash drive and tried to open it but it wouldn't open i had accidentally deleted the file. I had remembered i sent the imovie to assistant principal, he came towards the computer, logged into his email, and the imovie was there. We played it and we finished after that.

This quote is telling us to always do the right thing. Its best for everybody, doing the right will get you very far in life. Don't follow what other people do unless its the right thing. You rather be alone and independent than to be with a group of people that make you choose the wrong. For example, if you're in a group with people that are always drinking and smoking, it might be fun but it is affecting you. There bringing you down because drinking and smoking is not good. If you're not in a group you rather just be independent stay home and study you will have much more fun in the long run and you will be successful. Don't be around people that will influence you to making bad decisions.

Fear

This quote is telling us that if we do the right thing you have nothing to fear. Meaning if we always choose the right then everything will go right so we wont have to worry about the bad consequences or the bad things that can happen to us in the long run. For example, if you do all your work, home works, study you will for sure pass the class and you will get accepted into a great university but if you do bad and not try at all, you never study or do anything you will not pass and you wont get into a good college and when you've realized that you have chosen the wrong and that you cant go to a good school the following semester you will regret it.

If your parents, teachers, friends or any adults trust withdoing  the right thing you are one step closer of being a successful person. If someone cant trust you how are you ever going to be a success. You always need to be trusted. Another important thing to becoming a successful person is always try your best no matter what. You have to do your best all the time even if you're tired, don't give up. It will be worth it. So you always have to be committed to doing your best. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Its that simple. If someone is mean to you or she/he is giving you bad attitude be the bigger person and be nice to them. You have to stay humble. Show them that you are not affected by there insults or bad attitudes. If you have these qualities you will for sure be a successful person in the future.

Indonesia is located in Southeast Asia. It has thousands of volcanic islands. This country is known for there jungles, beaches, and volcanoes. Indonesia has a tropical climate consisting of heavy rain, and high humidity and temperature. November through march is rainfall season and April through October is dry weather. Many languages are spoken there such as Dutch, English, Arabic, Sanskirt etc. The capital of Indonesia is Jakarta, and there population is 249.9 million. I selected this country because its so interesting fulfilled with many beautiful things such as there beaches and islands.

What this quote is telling us is that kindness is greatness. If you are kind that means you are being a CTR person, you are being nice to someone, and that means you have a warm heart. Why say something mean when you can be nice. If you are kind and humble to other people they will treat you the same. But if you are mean to them and tell them nasty things they will be the same way or even worse to you.  Kindn

ess basiclly leads to greatness in some way. Because if you are kind then nothing is stopping you. Being mean has many terrible consequences. Its always best if you are kind to others. 

My Thanksgiving break was very relaxing. I slept in most of the week. I went hiking in the morning and bowling at night. I went black Friday shopping with my mom. My brother's girlfriend came over so i got to meet her. My sister came to visit for a few days. I watched the 5 season of Pretty Little Liars all over again. I watched college and nfl football. I was a ctr person when I took out my sister to eat and when my brothers money fell and he didnt notice I picked it up for him and I gave it to him. I read the book looking for alaska this week as well. I didn't have much homework so i didn't have to worry about doing it.   

"If its not right, do not do it, if its not true, do not say it."

This is telling us that if its not something right/good your about to do then don't do it at all. If something is not true then don't say it. Lying isn't good your are not choosing the right if you are making stuff up. Choosing the right is simple. There are many consequences if you choose the wrong. But if you choose the right you will be rewarded. Don't do something that isn't right and don't make stuff up if you know its not true.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a holiday that the pilgrims started in 1621 on the fourth Friday of November. Its a day you spend with your family giving thanks for everything. You have a thanksgiving dinner, many people cook a turkey and bake a pumpkin pie and have other delicious foods. People celebrate thanksgiving in many different ways. Thanksgiving is a very special holiday.

Doing the right, the fair, and honorable is much more important than to win or lose. If you win or lose that doesn't matter at all.You always have to chose the right no matter the circumstance or situation. You have to be fair all the time because fairness is very important. Honorable, is also important because being an honorable person is best. If you are a ctr person and you lose you are still a winner because you are a ctr person always.Anyone can be a fair,good,honorable person it just takes time to be a ctr person all the time, but we can do it.

We all have that temptation every once in a while to do the bad thing. No matter how much we want or someone wants us to do the bad thing we have to keep choosing the right. We can tell them no, tell ourselves no. We have to be honest with ourselves and others as well. We have to do the right thing always because it is the right thing to do and doing the right will always take us far in life. No matter how many people are choosing the wrong you still have to choose the right. If your so called friends are doing the wrong dont be around them they are just going to influence you in doing the wrong thing and we dont want that because after a while they wont be here for you. Be around the nice, caring, good influenced people.

Chef

Duties and Responsibilities- making sure that employees enough training so they can make culinary dishes

Salary- $42,480

Education- High school diploma, certification from the american culinary federation

Reflection- No i would not like to a chef because i cant touch many different types of ingredients because i get grossed out

-What is the purpose of veterans day? To honor all the people who served.
-Why is it important to show honor on veterans day? Many people died for this country we should show respect.
-List several ways to show honor and respect on veterans day?
-Write a reflection of at least eight sentences expressing your feelings toward veterans day
Veterans day is a very special holiday. Its when you take the time to realize that so many people got killed to help our country. But it shouldnt just be November 11 where people take the time to remember the people who served. It should be every day not only on Veterans Day. If it wouldnt have been for all the people that served this country would not be what it is today.

Whoever walks with wise men shall be wise men as well. Whoever decides to walk with the bad people will end up being bad people too. You have to make your choices wisely decide who you want to be friends with carefully. You want to be a good person. How can you be a good person and wise when you're surrounded by bad people everywhere you go to. You dont want that you can get in big triouble and do stuff youve never done only because youre not around the good people. So walk with wise people not fools.

The best thing you can do is the good. Doing the good makes you feel good about yourself. Being a good person is important as well. If you do good you will feel good. Even if you are the only person doing good and everyone else is doing bad.

Right is right always no matter if people are against the right thing you always have to do the right thing. Wrong is still the wrong no matter how many people are doing the wrong you still have to do the right thing and not do the wrong.

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities- Teach people about behaviors that promote wellness.  

Salary- $41,830

Education- atleast a bachelors degree

I wouldn’t want to be a health educator because I don’t think I would be able to do this as a career.

Its teling is to not sacrifice soemthing that we want most for what you want now. write what you most want and see it a lot. Thats basiclly what this quote is telling us. Not much to tell.

Healthcare Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities-  management and administration of public health systems, health care systems, hospitals, and hospital networks.

Salary-$64,821

Education- at least a bachelors degree in healthcare administration or management

Reflection- No I would not like to be a health care administrator because it seems like a boring job. I don’t see myself becoming a healthcare administrator.

We should all choose to have a good name than to be rich. There are many more important things then being rich. We can all be rich but in not the money type of rich but the richness in of a good person. Dont think to much about being rich. Richness doesnt always bring happiness, it can tear people apart. We dont need to be rich, we need to be good persons.

If your friends are doing something wrong you should say something. Even if you were to be alone that doesnt matter. If they laugh at you for doing the right thing well those are not real friends. You have to always always do the right. If your friends dont respect for what you believe in, or are always doing the right thing then they are not real friends. Make other people do the right thing, you dont have to follow and do the wrong.

A ctr person is a champion. Being a ctr person is the best champion there could be. You can be rich and have everything in the world but if you are not a ctr person you are nothing in life. Ctr is much more important than being rich and having everything. You will be much happier if you are a ctr person.

ENT Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for surgical and medical treatment for the ear, nose, and throat.

Salary: $205,000

Education: 3 years as an intern, and at least 5 years of a surgical resident.

I would not like to be an ent specialist because it seems like a really dull job, it seems boring just to focus on nose throat and ear so this job isn’t really for me.

Success isn't an accident, it just doesn't happen to anyone randomly you have to work hard to be successful in the future. You cant just say i want to be successful and it will happen magically. You have to do many things try your best on everything, learn from your mistakes. Everyone can be a successful person but the thing is are you going to work hard all the time are you going to give it your all. Anyone can be successful.

Obedience

When you decide to be obedience all the time you dont even think about it anymore you just do it. You dont have to think about whether doing the right or wrong. You automatically choose the right.Thats why when you choose the right more and more you are choosing the right.

Choosing the right is always the correct and good thing to do. If your choosing the right you are being a ctr person if you are choosing the wrong then that is not good.

Flight Attendant

Duties and responsibilities- Employed by airlines to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers aboard.

Salary- $37,240

Education-High School diploma, completion of training through designated airline.

Reflection- I would not mind being a flight attendant because it would be fun and you go to many places and you get to comfort people. 

Dermatologist

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Providing Consultations

·        Performing Dermatological Screenings

·        Prescribing Medication

·        Performing Dermatological Procedures

Salary: $314,017

Education:

·        Residency from medical school

·        Bachelor's degree

·        Internship, 1 year

Reflection: Much like a plastic surgeon a Dermatologist provides almost just as much. Being a Dermatologist would be a privilege and honor to perform. Being a doctor of any sort and providing care for others is what matters most. At first I know I’d be a bit awkward situated since it is only specializes in skin care. Lot of the times it is in the most uncomfortable regions. It’d be a bit getting used to but it definitely would NOT be a challenge for me. 

Obedience

This quote is telling us that obedience is very important because its to be happy you have to be obedient. Its the center of everything, you must be obedient.

This quote is saying is that the way you are as a person is much more important than how you are as a basketball player. For example if you play basketball and you have great character traits thats perfect but if your a really good player but isnt that much of a great person then thats not okay

                                         Dentist Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Helps the dentist by providing more supplies if needed, preparing the patient for treatment, passing things during procedure etc.
Salary: $34,500
Education: community college, focus on what type assistant either dentist, orthodontist etc.  Around one a half years to become a dentist assistant.

Reflection: No I would not like to be a dentist assistant because like a dentist they still have to help the patient with their treatment and I really don’t want to look at other people’-s teeth and I also don’t want to be an assistant I want to be much more than that.

This quote is telling us that you dont necessary have to be wealthy meaning money to feel accomplised. For example, lets compare someone rich with no family no friends no nothing just money then to someone who does have family, and friends and an okay job the person with the family is happy and the other has nobody and money doesnt buy happiness.

This quote is telling us that whenever we do something good we will feel good but when we do something bad it makes us feel bad. I am respectful to others.

Obedience

"The key to freedom is obedience.  The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."

This quote is telling us that we have are obedient then we will get more previledge will have. For example if you want to go out with your friends and  you have been misbehaving you will not be able to go out and have fun. If you do behave well then your parents will let you go out and possibly for longer time as well.

Cardiologist

Duties and responsibilities: Cardiologists are physicians who have recieved additional training to prevent, diagnose and treat different conditions on the cardiovascular system.

Salary: $180,000 - $400,000

Education: 4 years ungraduated, 4 years medical school and 3 to 8 years of internship.

Reflection: This sounds like a very interesting and important job I would not mind becoming a cardiologists they get paid extremely well but I want to head a different direction so that is the only reason why I wouldn’t become a cardiologist. 

Athletic Trainer

Duties and Responsibilities:  certified health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine.

Salary: $42,690

Education:  To become an athletic trainer you must have your bachelors degree at least.

Reflection: No I would not like to become an athletic trainer because all they do is see what is wrong with the person or why is the person in pain. I would not like to be that because the salary isn’t that great.

Ophthalmologist

Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders or diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologist are in private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinics, and others perform surgery.

Average Salary: $90,000-$150,000

Educational Requirements:

Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

Reflection: No I would not like to be an ophthalmologist because in my opinion that seems like a really boring job I don’t find it interesting and I wouldn’t want to have a career that includes working with eyes. 

                                        Psychiatrist

Physhiatrists are physicians who specialize in the problems of mental illness. As physicians, they are licensed to use a wide variety of treatments and may write prescriptions. Psychiatrist may work for the government, have their own private practice, or work in hospitals, clinics, or universities. Their duties include

- Designing treatment programs.

- Conducting psychotherapy sessions.

- Prescribing potent mental illness drug.

- Supervising electrotherapy treatments.

- Conducting research.

- Loading a team of mental health care providers.

Average Salary

$90,000 - $200,000

Educational Requirements: Bachelors, MASTERS, PH.D. degrees.

In addition to completing the requirements for a degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine psychiatrists must complete an intensive three years  residency in psychiatry.

Reflection: No I would not like to be one because it does not seem as interesting as other jobs. I wouldn’t be able to do this job as a career in the future.
